The Foundation for the Study of the Biodiversity of the South Pacific of Costa Rica (BioSur), is a Costa Rican non-profit organization. This entity is located in the Osa Peninsula, in Puerto Jiménez de Golfito, in the province of Puntarenas. It is dedicated to maintaining and safeguarding the biodiversity of the last Tropical Rainforest of the Central American Pacific, home to 3% of the world’s biodiversity.
To intertwine community participation and the support of national and international organizations to promote the conservation, scientific knowledge and environmental education of the biodiversity of the South Pacific of Costa Rica
